Have They Gone Insane In Virginia???

You can bring your loaded AR-15 to the Virginia capitol, but you can't bring a flag stapled to a 12-inch wooden dowel because that would be far, far too dangerous.  Incredibly, the Virginia Capitol Police is enforcing a restriction against sticks at official rallies because they can be used as weapons.  You want to know what other things can be used as weapons?  Actual weapons!

While patriotic visitors to the capitol grounds were stopped and forced to rip American flags off their wooden dowels, other visitors openly brandishing firearms were ushered through the entrance without delay.   At the “Guns Save Lives” rally at the Virginia capitol today, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported that about half of the crowd was armed, packing weapons that ranged from handguns to assault rifles.
