Trump Pushes White Nationalist Fantasy in Front of Embarrassed King Charles

King Charles of the U.K. sat awkwardly yesterday as convicted felon Donald Trump delivered a racist, blood-and-soil speech to “welcome” him to the White House.  In a bizarre and deeply uncomfortable moment during the visit of King Charles III, Donald Trump delivered a rambling, race-tinged tribute that sounded more like 19th-century white supremacist rhetoric than a modern presidential address.  In the first few minutes of his remarks (which surely must have been written in part by white nationalist Stephen Miller), Trump unleashed the following: 

Long before Americans had a nation or a constitution, we first had a culture, a character, and a creed. Before we ever proclaimed our independence, Americans carried within us the rarest of gifts: moral courage, and it came from a small but mighty kingdom from across the sea. For nearly two centuries before the revolution, this land was settled and forged by men, women who bore in their souls the blood and noble spirit of the British. Here on a wild and untamed continent, they set loose the ancient English love of liberty and Great Britain’s distinctive sense of glory, destiny, and pride, and that’s what it is: glory, destiny, and pride.

The American patriots who pledged their lives to independence in 1776 were the heirs to this majestic inheritance. Their veins ran with Anglo-Saxon courage. Their hearts beat with an English faith in standing firm for what is right, good, and true.

In recent years, we’ve often heard it said that America is merely an idea, but the cause of freedom did not simply appear as an intellectual invention of 1776. The American founding was the culmination of hundreds of years of thought, struggle, sweat, blood, and sacrifice on both sides of the Atlantic.

Let me first say that "moral courage" in the United States didn't come solely from a "small but mighty kingdom from across the sea."  It also came from America's indigenous peoples, African slaves and Mexican immigrants, whose descendants are an integral part of the American culture.  In his ignorant mind, Trump was arguing that "America" was the result of “hundreds of years of thought, struggle, sweat, blood and sacrifice on both sides of the Atlantic” –  implying that America’s greatness comes from white European bloodlines.

 

His attempt to shoehorn in a paraphrase of Churchill at the end fell completely flat and came off as awkward and forced in context. Trump, who often comically claims he’s the “least racist person” in the room, is nonetheless standing beside the King of England, pushing a vision of American identity rooted in racial and ethnic purity rather than the ideals of liberty, equality, and democracy that actually define this country.

 

It was embarrassing, ahistorical, and revealing.  Trump isn’t celebrating America’s founding values. He’s pushing a white nationalist fantasy that has no place in 2026.

Melania Trump's criticism of Jimmy Kimmel has been met with calls of hypocrisy – and social media users have the receipts that show it.  In a post on social media, the first lady tried to criticized Kimmel’s “hateful and violent rhetoric”, labeling him a “coward” and called for the TV network to “take a stand.”

Last week, late-night TV host made a joke about the first lady, suggesting she had “a glow like an expectant widow”.  On his Monday night show, Kimmel explained the joke was in relation to Melania and Donald Trump’s age difference (56 and 79, respectively), and was “not, by any stretch of the definition, a call to assassination.”  As if anybody with half a brain needed an explanation of the obvious!

It didn’t take long for people to point out that the rhetoric coming from none other than her own husband is pretty violent itself. 

 

 

 

DUI Hire Pete Kegsbreath Targeting Women and Minorities in DOD

Despite the conflict with Iran and other recent military activity overseas, the Pentagon seems focused on purging minorities and women. Last week, NBC News reported that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had intervened to block or delay the promotions of more than a dozen Black and female senior officers. 

The process within the Army, the Air Force, the Navy and the Marines is structured to ensure the most qualified officers get promoted. Hegseth’s decision to intervene in the process has raised concerns among some officials within those military branches and the White House, the nine U.S. officials familiar with the situation said.  “There is not a single service that has been immune to this level of involvement by Hegseth,” one of the U.S. officials said. 

According to both NBC and The New York Times, some officials are concerned that officers are being targeted because of their race, gender, or perceived political affiliation. In one instance last year, Hegseth’s chief of staff, Ricky Buria, bluntly stated that “President Trump would not want to stand next to a Black female officer at military events,” the Times reported.

Two officials said that among the attributes Hegseth has cited for removing officers from promotions are past support for Covid vaccines or mask mandates for troops, or whether officers were affiliated with DEI programs, or assigned to worke on such initiatives. Those same officials said an officer’s association with former Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley (whom Trump still views as a political enemy) can also make an officer who is up for a promotion susceptible to scrutiny from Hegseth’s office.  “There is not consistency being applied to the standards” for promotions, another of the U.S. officials said.

Hegseth blocked three Marine officers (two women and a Black man) who were expected to be promoted or appointed to new roles, despite being recommended by Marine leadership. None of the three Marines were the subjects of internal investigations that might raise concerns about moving forward with their promotions, according to two of the officials.  

Army chief of staff, General Randy George had recently asked to meet with Hegseth to discuss Hegseth's blocking of promotions for some Army officers, which seemed to focus on women and Black men, but Hegseth refused to meet or discuss his decisions, according to two additional U.S. officials.  Soon thereafter, Hegseth fired George instead.  George's term was expected to serve in his position an additional year and a half,  George, the Army’s top officer, was senior military assistant to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin during the Biden administration.  Also during Hegseth’s tenure, several top military officers have been removed, including former Joint Chiefs Chairman CQ Brown Jr., a Black man, and former Chief of Naval Operations Lisa Franchetti, a white woman.

A retired senior military officer described the promotion process as rigorous and said any meddling by the defense secretary could diminish trust in it.  “Our officer corps trusts our promotion process,” the retired officer said, adding that intervention in the process without an explanation “will certainly cast a shadow across our officer corps that everything they have said, done and written about during their careers could be politicized in a career-ending manner with the stroke of a pen.”

Shortly after posting a hateful screed against Pope Leo XIV, convicted felon Donald Trump posted an image that depicted him as a Jesus figure, which quickly drew rare criticism from the religious right, prompting allegations of blasphemy. 

The post also came mere hours after Chicago's Cardinal Cupich lambasted the Trump administration for posting “sickening” social media content about the Iran war during an interview on 60 Minutes.  The CBS show interviewed Cupich and two other high-ranking American Catholics (Newark's Cardinal Tobin and Washington DC's Cardinal McElroy) days after Pope Leo XIV ramped up his criticism of the war. 

The shocking image posted by Trump was in the style of a painting, depicting him in a long white robe with a red cloak draped around his shoulders. In one hand was an orb glowing with light; Trump’s other hand rested on the forehead of a man in what resembled a hospital bed — light beaming from the man’s head as Trump appeared to pray for his healing. Patriotic symbols including an eagle, fireworks and the Statue of Liberty filled the frame.

Before the post was deleted, evangelical and Catholic allies called the image blasphemous in a rare public break from a base that has largely stood by Trump.  “I don’t know if the President thought he was being funny or if he is under the influence of some substance or what possible explanation he could have for this OUTRAGEOUS blasphemy,” wrote Megan Basham, a prominent conservative Protestant Christian writer and commentator. “But he needs to take this down immediately and ask for forgiveness from the American people and then from God.” 

Isabel Brown, a Catholic podcaster with the Daily Wire outlet and a conservative influencer allied with the Trump White House, spoke out against it.  “This post is, frankly, disgusting and unacceptable, but also a profound misreading of the American people experiencing a true and beautiful revival of faith in Christ in the midst of our broken culture,” Brown wrote.  

Faced with such quick backlash, Trump attempted to explain that he thought he was being depicted as a "doctor."  “I thought it was me as a doctor, and had to do with Red Cross, as a Red Cross worker, which we support,” Trump said.  “It’s supposed to be me as a doctor, making people better,” Trump continued. “And I do make people better. I make people a lot better.”  Trump added “only the fake news” could suggest he was depicting himself as Jesus, ignoring the criticism he received from his own religious supporters.  Last year, Trump shared a picture of himself dressed in full papal robes after joking that he would “like to be pope”, an image that also sparked widespread attention and debate online.

The new image and the subsequent reaction echoed a Truth Social post Trump ultimately deleted earlier this year, a video that at the end briefly showed Barack and Michelle Obama depicted as apes. The post was deleted after roughly 12 hours, but not before the White House press secretary dismissed criticism and urged the news media to “stop the fake outrage.”

 

Embarrassment for ICE Barbie as Trump Kicks Her to the Curb

I couldn't let this jaw-dropping piece of news pass by.  Kristi Noem, the fired former head of the Department of Homeland Security, suffered another round of embarrassment upon exiting the Trump administration.  The Daily Mail reported that Noem's husband is a cross-dresser who wears large fake breasts and hot pants while messaging with online adult entertainers.

According to the report, Bryon Noem sent at least $25,000 to interact with fetish models, whom he communicated with using a phone number that easily identified him as the now-former DHS secretary's husband.

Experts say his behavior opened his wife up to blackmail that could have endangered U.S. national security.  “If a media organization can find this out, you can assume with a high degree of confidence that a hostile intelligence service knows this as well," former CIA officer Marc Polymeropoulos told the Daily Mail.

And given that his wife appears to be openly cheating on him with sleazeball former Trump administration aide Corey Lewandowski, who can blame Bryon for working out his kinks on the side?  We can however, throw some shade his way for pretending to be some holier-than-thou Christian who claimed to have stayed with his wife because of “his calling from God to support her,” as an unnamed family member told the New York Post earlier in March.  We can also shame him for apparently being so careless and sloppy with his communications with the models, since it could’ve endangered American national security.

It's hard to feel bad for ICE Barbie Kristi Noem, who wasted millions of taxpayer dollars to fly around the country with her alleged fuck-buddy so she could film ads promoting herself and stage stunts to torture immigrants.  Noem’s detractors also are accusing her of lying about her knowledge of her husband’s reported fetish, saying it’s something that’s been openly known in Trump world for years.

Good riddance to basic white trash and the hillbilly-style drama that seems to follow her wherever she goes. 

Trump Threatens to Commit War Crimes, Then Backs Off After Accepting Iran's 10-point Ceasefire Plan

Yesterday, convicted felon Donald Trump threatened the death of Iran’s civilization, an escalation of his ongoing threats to commit international war crimes against that nation. Trump’s incendiary rhetoric validated long-running warnings from the Democratic Party about Trump issuing illegal orders to the U.S. military.

In a post to Truth Social Trump wrote, “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.” He added, “47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!”

Trump’s threats come just a few days after he said the U.S. would be targeting Iran’s civilian infrastructure, hitting facilities like energy plants, water treatment centers, and key roads and bridges. Targeting such structures is a war crime.

Of course, Taco Don backed off from his threats late last night, when he announced that a ceasefire was in effect.   Trump tried to portray the ceasefire agreement as a "total victory," but this was quickly refuted by public statements issued by the Iran government.  Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi released a statement saying that Iran's military will coordinate safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz during the ceasefire, and that Washington had accepted “the general framework” of Iran’s 10-point proposal “as a basis for negotiations.” Iran's Supreme National Security Council (the country’s top security body) released a statement that confirmed the ceasefire but also portrayed the agreement as an Iranian victory.  

Iran said that talks with the U.S. would take place in Islamabad and laid out key parts of Tehran’s 10-point plan. It included regulating passage through the Strait of Hormuz; terminating attacks on Iran and its regional proxy forces, the withdrawal of US forces from the region, compensation to Iran, the lifting of international sanctions and unfreezing of assets as well as and a binding UN resolution to secure any ultimate peace deal.  

A senior White House official told CNN that Israel is part of the ceasefire and had agreed to also suspend its bombing campaign while negotiations continue.  But this was also quickly revealed to be a lie, as an Israeli military spokesperson confirmed that Israel was still carrying out strikes in Iran, despite reports of a "ceasefire."

Trump Unwittingly Reveals Plans for Secret Military Bunker

Convicted felon Donald Trump has complained that a “stupid” lawsuit forced him to reveal plans to build a top-secret military base underneath his White House ballroom.  The 79-year-old president was defending his $400 million vanity project while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, after a New York Times article over the weekend exposed the shoddy nature of its construction and design.

While holding comically large placards detailing how the completed ballroom might look, Trump also gave updates on what is being built beneath the area where the White House East Wing once stood.

“The military is building a big complex under the ballroom, which has come out recently because of a stupid lawsuit that was filed,” he said.

“The ballroom essentially becomes a shed [shield] for what’s being built under the military, including from drones, and including from any other thing,” Trump added. “The glass, or the windows, you see the big windows, the glass is extremely thick. It’s high-grade bulletproof glass, so all of the windows are bulletproof.”

The lawsuit Trump referenced was filed in December 2025 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which is asking a federal judge to halt construction of the ballroom until it undergoes multiple independent reviews, passes environmental assessments, and receives approval from Congress.

The vanity project is being built as tens of millions of Americans suffer through a cost-of-living crisis exacerbated by Trump’s war on Iran.

On Sunday, the Times reported that multiple experts also condemned the proposed design of the mammoth building, noting that it includes a staircase that doesn’t lead anywhere, columns that will block the view of its windows, and the 90,000-square-foot ballroom that is “unnecessarily” large.

 

Crazy Pete Doesn't Like Rules of Engagement

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth appeared particularly unhinged during the first official news briefing about President Donald Trump’s attacks on Iran. Hegseth praised Israel, the U.S.’s military partner in the Iran strikes, for joining in what he described as “unleashing the most lethal and precise air power campaign in history.” 

Hegseth said that the campaign was being carried out “all on our terms, with maximum authorities. No stupid rules of engagement, no nation-building quagmire, no democracy-building exercise, no politically correct wars.” 

It was unclear what "politically correct wars” Hegseth is talking about. Maybe that one against Nazi Germany? Despite his bluster, Hegseth seemed rankled by the suggestion that we are now involved in a regime change.   "This is not Iraq,” he said. “This is not endless." 

His remarks, like most everything in the Trump administration, were not in sync with President Donald Trump’s own boasts to Fox News anchor Bret Baier. Trump claimed that U.S. and Israeli forces targeted an Iranian leadership meeting and took out “49 leaders.” 

Hegseth also bristled at questions about the timeline for U.S. involvement, calling them “gotcha-type” questions, though he also warned that the Trump-initiated conflict “will include casualties. War is hell and always will be”

In case anyone forgot-- last June, Hegseth claimed Iran’s nuclear program—one ostensible reason for this latest strike—was “devastated” by prior U.S. strikes.

Convicted felon Donald Trump gave a rambling press conference last week, stepping in for propaganda princess Karoline Leavitt.  At one point in his incoherent rant, Trump launched into a reverie about reviving archaic "mental institutions" with "bars on the windows."  I'm not kidding.

“I grew up in Queens, we had a place called Creedmoor [Psychiatric Center],” Trump said, “Creedmoor. Did anybody know that? Creedmoor. It was a big … I said, ‘Mom, why are those bars on the building?’ I used to play little league baseball there at a place called Cunningham Park. I was quite the baseball player, you wouldn't believe. But I said to my mother, ‘Mom,’ she would be there, always there for me. She said, ‘Son, you could be a professional baseball player.’ I said, ‘Thanks, mom.’ I said, ‘Why are those bars on the windows?’”

He went on to blame Democrats for the deinstitutionalization of the 1970s and 1980s, saying it caused many people to become homeless.  The fact is the Mental Health Systems Act of 1980, signed by former President Jimmy Carter, was designed to serve as a critical safety net for people who couldn’t obtain mental health services. The legislation was promptly defunded and effectively dismantled by former President Ronald Reagan. 

But after blaming Democrats for the end of an older, more barbaric era in mental health care, Trump circled back to his childhood memories.

“It wasn't normal, you know?” he said. “You're used to looking at, like, a window. But this one you're looking at all the steel—vicious steel, tiny windows, bars all over the place. Nobody was getting out. It's called the mental institution. That was an insane asylum.”  Huh?

Convicted felon Donald Trump's largely incoherent speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, is unlikely to quell the growing questions about his mental fitness after he continually flubbed the name of the arctic territory he wants to conquer.

Trump kept confusing Greenland with Iceland, a nearby country.  Trump blamed Tuesday’s stock market slide on “Iceland,” saying, "They're not there for us on Iceland, that I can tell you. I mean, our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland. So Iceland has already cost us a lot of money."

Trump was lying (once again)-- the fact is that the stock market dipped because investors were rightly concerned about Trump's rage-fueled tariff threat against our NATO allies (for standing with Denmark  against Trump's threats to take the country by force.)  Then Trump flubbed the name of Greenland once again: "Until the last few days, when I told them about Iceland, they loved me. They called me daddy."  

The fact that Trump is confusing the name of the territory he has been bizarrely consumed with conquering gives fuel to Democrats’ argument that Trump's Cabinet officials need to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove him from office. The 25th Amendment allows the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet to determine that the president is "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office" and thus remove him from the role.

"The president of the United States is extremely mentally ill and it’s putting all of our lives at risk," Democratic Rep. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona wrote in a post on X after Trump embarrassingly told the Norwegian prime minister that his demands to conquer Greenland were the result of him not winning the Nobel Peace Prize. "The 25th Amendment exists for a reason—we need to invoke it immediately."

"Donald Trump is unfit to lead and clearly out of control. Invoke the 25th Amendment," Democratic Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove of California wrote in a post on X.

Trump, for his part, has been defiant that there are no problems with his health or cognitive abilities, even though we all see with our own eyes that he can't stay awake at events, has bruising on his hands, and speaks like an incoherent fool.

The fact that he keeps confusing the territory he wants to take over will do nothing to assuage those concerns.  "Donald Trump is overseas embarrassing America on the world stage. Again," House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wrote in a post on X.

 

Trumps Marks His First Year Back in Office with Cruelty and Lies

Convicted felon Donald Trump marked the one-year anniversary of his return to the presidency with a rambling and nearly incoherent press conference. However, instead of addressing the issues on which his administration is failing, Trump ranted about a host of other topics.

A considerable amount of Trump’s time was dedicated to justifying the killing of Minnesota mother Renee Good by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent.  “They’re going to make mistakes sometimes. ICE is going to be too rough with somebody—you know, they deal with rough people. Are they going to make a mistake? Sometimes it can happen,” Trump said.

Trump inaccurately claimed that Good’s father was “a tremendous Trump fan” and that “I hope he still feels that way.” This appears to actually be a reference to Good’s former father-in-law, whom conservative outlets like Fox News have touted because he said he doesn’t blame ICE for the killing.

Trump also criticized a woman, apparently Good’s wife, Becca Good, who witnessed the killing.  “When [Good] was shot, there was another woman that was screaming ‘shame, shame, shame, shame,’ right? We saw it. So loud. Like a professional opera singer, she was so loud and so professional,” Trump said.  The right has repeatedly pushed the made-up conspiracy theory that people protesting against ICE actions in Minnesota are paid political agitators.

In another section of his bizaare speech, Trump held up mugshots of purported criminals who were also allegedly undocumented immigrants, using the photos to justify the brutality of ICE’s actions across the country.  As has often been the case during his time in the public eye, Trump made racist remarks. This time, it was his decision to call the majority-Black nation of Somalia “a backward country” where “they just have people running around, killing each other, and trying to pirate ships.”  Trump and other Republicans have recently attacked the Somali immigrant community in Minnesota for attacks and racist smears, most notably singling out Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar.

In response to criticism of his deployment of armed federal troops to American cities with large minority populations, Trump said, “To me, a town, it looks better when you have military people. These are big, strong guys. The bad guys look at them and say, 'We're not gonna mess with them.'”  He argued that crime has fallen in the cities where federal forces were deployed, which is generally false.  In addition, crime rates were already going down under former President Joe Biden.  In a weird reference, Trump said, “Your lover’s not going to be killed anymore, so he can act like a real lover,”  “You can walk right through the middle of the town. And D.C. is beautiful again too.”  For the record, DC has always been beautiful-- especially before military personnel began prowling tourist areas of the city (instead of where actual crime occurs).

Trump also returned to a favorite topic of his—long-debunked conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election. He claimed the race was “rigged” and that “numbers are coming out that show it even more plainly.”  None of this is true. Trump lost to Biden because more people voted for Biden.

The cringeworthy event reinforced why, after a year back in the presidency, Trump faces numerous crises of his own making. Costs are generally up, people live in fear of being harassed and killed by their own government, and the United States has become an international pariah.  Even Trump’s longtime allies at Fox News have begun to admit his unpopularity is a drag on the party. But Trump’s press event makes it clear he has no intention of shutting up any time soon.

 

Musk Makes an Ass Out of Himself on Social Media

Tech bozo Elon Musk was publicly shamed on his own social media platform after he attacked Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and she dismantled his laughable allegation against her for everyone to see.

Musk shared a graphic on X suggesting Democrats support illegal immigration in order to recruit non-citizens into their party as loyal voters. Musk accused Somalian-born Omar of benefiting from this supposed scheme.  Musk wrote, “This has been happening for years. Ilhan Omar is the most obvious example. A large number of relatively recently arrived Somalis will elect only a Somali to Congress in that Minnesota district. This is much more subtle, but just as bad, in many other parts of America.”

Musk, who helped elect Trump last year with a quarter-billion-dollar campaign infusion, appeared not to have done his homework — as Omar easily debunked his theory with one simple fact about her congressional district in Minnesota.  “You are one of the dumbest people on earth, my district is literally a majority white district,” Omar wrote in response while resharing Musk’s post. “Your conspiracy theories are laughable and should have no place in a society that cares about facts.”

Musk’s own AI chatbot Grok backed her up: When a user asked about Omar’s constituency, it cited census data from 2023 to 2024 to note the 5th Congressional District she represents is approximately 60% white. Even though Musk fans tried to argue that Omar didn’t debunk his claim (as she could still ostensibly benefit from the supposed influx of undocumented workers) it’s illegal for undocumented workers to vote in state elections and criminal voting by non-citizens is almost nonexistent.

Musk has regularly shared lies and misrepresentations on X.  Last year, Musk amplified the false claim that millions of new voters had registered in swing states without proof of citizenship and reshared a fake “affidavit” from a supposed “whistleblower” claiming ABC News had rigged the presidential debate it hosted against Trump.  Musk has also amplified the “replacement theory” accusing Democratic elites of “importing” undocumented workers to replace white people, and recently reshared a post warning white men in the U.S. “will be slaughtered” if they ever become a minority.

Meanwhile, Omar's slam dunk against Musk did not go unnoticed by his critics on social media. 

 

Trump Shows What a Sick Bastard He Really Is

Convicted felon Donald Trump showed us once again what an ignorant jackass he is-- and that he is no leader.  Commenting on the tragic death of Rob Reiner and his wife yesterday, Trump posted: 

 

1. Rob Reiner was neither tortured and struggling (but Trump certainly appears to be himself);

2.  There is no such thing as "Trump Derangement Syndrome"

3. Reiner did not pass away due to a "mind-crippling disease"-- he was stabbed by his son;

4. The Trump administration is not surpassing any goals or expectations-- in fact, the administration is falling behead on most of his promises (lowering prices, staying out of foreign wars, deporting criminals)

5. America is definitely NOT in a "Golden Age" 

All of this hateful bullshit is what everyone has come to expect from a man who danced on the grave of the late Sen. John McCain, called military members who died “suckers and losers,” and seems to delight in the pain he inflicts on others daily. 

Of all people, even Marjorie Taylor Greene called out Trump’s post. “Rob Reiner and his wife were tragically killed at the hands of their own son, who reportedly had drug addiction and other issues, and their remaining children are left in serious mourning and heartbreak. This is a family tragedy, not about politics or political enemies,” Greene wrote in a post on X. “Many families deal with a family member with drug addiction and mental health issues. It’s incredibly difficult and should be met with empathy especially when it ends in murder.”

 

Going Off the Deep End Over a Toilet

The American presidency is currently going through some of the most troubling challenges in its history. For the first time ever we have, in Donald Trump, a White House occupant who is emulating the behavior of notorious totalitarian dictators such as Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Kim Jong Un, all of whom he frequently reminds us are leaders that he admires.  

Having an avowed autocrat as the American PINO (President in Name Only) is creating unprecedented challenges that portend seriously disturbing consequences, especially since no one close to Trump is calling him on his BS or seemingly trying to steer him to safer waters. And topping the list of the Trump Sycophants Brigade is his Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt.  With all of the trauma and turmoil that this nation is currently undergoing, Leavitt made a point of highlighting what she regards as among the most worrisome problems that America is facing. And she tweeted her relief that Dear Leader was addressing that problem head on, saying, "When I first learned a toilet like that existed inside the White House, I was horrified.  President Trump is making the People’s House more elegant and beautiful for generations of Americans to come!" 

Thank gawd! Now, along with building an elegant ballroom for Trump to throw parties paying tribute to him. he and his guests will be able to defecate in the luxury to which they are accustomed. How could anyone even contemplate the horror of the loathsome lavatory on the left in the photos above? But now "generations of Americans" will delight in the gaudy "elegance" of the marble amenities that Trump has installed. Well, actually only a handful of privileged elites with access to the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House.

Trump posted seven separate comments about his facility upgrade on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social.  So naturally, Leavitt backed him up expressing how "horrified" she was by the prior state of the rest room. For the record, let's explore just a few of the things that did not "horrify" Leavitt:

• Trump's government shutdown that cut off food aid for children and seniors
• Trump's termination of funding for the USAID that will result in thousands of deaths
• Inflationary tariffs that raise the cost of living of most Americans
• Healthcare premiums skyrocketing by as much as 400%
• Trump's "Justice" Department prosecuting his political foes
• Ministers getting shot in the face by ICE agents
• Trump sending the military into American cities
• Palestinians suffering genocidal attacks in Gaza
• Trump halting military support for Ukraine at the behest of Vladimir Putin
• Murder of Venezuelans in the Caribbean who may have been innocent fishermen
• Trump and Republicans calling peaceful protesters "terrorists"
• Trump suppressing the media that he calls "the enemy of the people" 

It is SO comforting that Leavitt and her ilk will no longer have to suffer from using a toilet that isn't embedded in a marble mausoleum.  And we can now rest assured that Trump is focusing like a laser on the matters that truly impact the lives of the American people. And now he has a place to deposit his excrement-- rather than on top of the people who were protesting his authoritarian aspirations.

Patel is Such a Douchebag

FBI Director Kash Patel is not a smart man. He failed upward by parroting Trump’s conspiracy theories, but his time at the FBI is just a litany of hilarious failures.

His latest misstep—actually, his latest giant mistake—is that he publicly disclosed the details of the “potential” Michigan terrorist plot outside Detroit before investigators were done gathering info about whether the attack was imminent.   Actually, it might be a bigger mistake than that. It might actually be that there was never a terror plot to begin with. 

Patel simply cannot help himself. He loves nothing more than posting and bragging and, ideally, bragging while posting.   Patel posted very early on Halloween:  “This morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend. More details to come.”  He also added the now-required boasting that also manages to sound very Nazi: “Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland."

In reality, the investigation was in the early stages, and no criminal charges had been prepared, nor did the government know what the suspects planned to do. So, he basically publicized an open investigation before it concluded, and cut it off at the knees by doing so before the suspects did anything.

Patel doesn’t appear to have gotten approval from Main Justice before hopping on X, because Patel is not just stupid. He’s also a glory hound.   It isn’t just that Patel may have prematurely cut off an active FBI investigation into a terror plot. It’s also that the terror plot may be nonexistent. 

Of the five extremely deadly terrorists arrested on Halloween, two have already been released. And, according to a lawyer for one of the men, it sounds a lot more like these five were not mastermind Islamic super-terrorists but instead five young men, ages 16-20, who like to play video games and talk shit. Indeed, two unnamed law enforcement sources told CBS that there was “no concrete plan for an attack.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time Patel has absolutely embarrassed himself on social media.  After James Comey was indicted by Lindsey Halligan, Patel went to his favorite social media site to remind everyone that the FBI did too help with this sham indictment: “Career FBI agents, intel analysts, and staff led the investigation into Comey and others. They called the balls and strikes and will continue to do so.”  What investigation you might wonder? Cause it’s certainly not reflected in the indictment filed by Halligan. But sure, Patel, please proceed.

After right-wing activist Charlie Kirk was shot, Patel could not get on social media fast enough to say that there was a “subject” in custody (hoping no one would notice he didn’t say "suspect"). And Patel probably really wishes no one had noticed that the  so-called “subject” was cut loose a couple of hours later and was definitely not a suspect.  

Or who could forget when he breathlessly posted photos of unused bullet casings after a shooting in Texas, bullet casings where the suspect had helpfully scrawled “ANTI-ICE” in sharpie marker. 

At least he has a government jet he can fly all around the country to see his girlfriend and catch some sports. But you won’t know about that any longer, since Patel was so embarrassed at people mocking him for his little girlfriend boondoggle trip on the taxpayer’s dime that he decided to fire the person overseeing the FBI’s airplane fleet. 

That’s an awful weenie baby move for such an alleged tough guy. Surely a big warrior like you can take a little heat about your jet trips all around the country on the taxpayer’s dime. 

 

Hegseth’s Sexism is Pushing Qualified Women Out of the Military

Everything was set for the Navy officer to take over a new role that would have capped an already distinguished career— and made her the first woman in a Naval Special Warfare command overseeing Navy SEALs.  Ranked the top officer for promotion in her cohort, she received a Purple Heart after being injured in an IED attack during a combat tour in Iraq. She then became the first woman to serve with SEAL Team Six in the role of troop commander, one of several senior positions within the squadrons that make up the elite naval unit.   A formal ceremony marking her new position was planned for July. Invitations went out two months in advance.  

But just two weeks before the ceremony, her command was abruptly canceled with little explanation (according to a new report by CNN). The decision didn’t come through formal channels but by a series of phone calls from the Pentagon, which was designed to omit a paper trail, according to multiple sources.  With no command slot to take, under the Navy’s “up or out” policy, the officer’s more than two-decade military career is now effectively over.  As the news spread through the tight-knit world of Naval Special Warfare, a consensus began to form: The command was likely yanked by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth because of the officer’s gender.  

The command she was set to take over is closely aligned with recruiting for elite operations roles, including the Navy SEALs — and the impression those in the Naval Special Warfare community got from the Pentagon was that Hegseth did not want a woman fronting that role.  

A Pentagon official familiar with the situation said the command was pulled because the Navy captain wasn’t herself a SEAL, and that Hegseth was not involved.  But multiple people familiar with the dynamics of Navy personnel matters scoffed at those explanations. A broad panel of the most elite Navy SEAL leaders selected her for the new command.  “They can [try to] justify it by saying she’s not qualified because she’s not a SEAL,” said one retired SEAL. “But the SEALs thought she was qualified.”  To this person, the revoked command was a clear symptom of Hegseth’s views about women in the military. He said he believes the commander was removed because Hegseth is sexist.  “I’m sure they would repeal the whole women in combat thing [if they could], but this is what they can do,” the retired SEAL added.  

Her story is further evidence of what many in the military now fear is a culture of misogyny permeating the armed forces under Hegseth.  Many active-duty women have said they also know of other female service members who had recently been passed over for deserved promotions. Others said they are now considering leaving the military.  

Hegseth has already removed several women from prominent leadership roles, including firing Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti, the highest-ranking officer in the US Navy and the first woman on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. That currently leaves the US without a female four-star general, the military’s highest rank.  Two years ago, there were four.  

In a speech to generals in Quantico, Virginia, in September, Hegseth announced his vision for rolling back policies aimed at promoting diversity or accommodating troops.  Among these were fitness standards that he claimed were eased in recent years to make it possible for women to serve in combat roles. In his speech, Hegseth vowed to implement fitness tests that would be judged to “the highest male standard.”  “If that means no women qualify for some combat jobs, so be it,” Hegseth said.  But the fact is that Hegseth’s claims are blatantly false—the physical standards for combat positions are already gender-neutral.  For the Navy captain whose command orders were revoked, she met every physical standard (according to multiple sources)-- including being able to perform 25-pound weighted pull-ups.  

According to a retired senior enlisted Navy SEAL who served with the Navy Captain denied a promotion, there was never any question about her qualifications for the role. “She was the best man for the job. There is absolutely no DEI ,” the retired SEAL said, adding that the captain spent her spare time competing in IRONMAN races.  She would have overseen bomb disposal technicians and divers in addition to Navy SEALs, three communities in which she had worked. “She’s a badass, and also extremely smart and capable,” the retired SEAL said.

For Hailey Gibbons, an Army veteran who was among the first women to graduate from Ranger School after it was opened to women a decade ago, the idea that women aren’t meeting the same standards as men is “laughable.” Her initial physical test at Ranger School – a grueling two-month training course – was the same as her male comrades, she said: 49 pushups, 59 sit-ups, and a five-mile run in under 40 minutes, plus six chin-ups. 

Another woman in the Army (an enlisted soldier in a combat arms unit) said that she is already feeling real-life effects of Hegseth’s September speech.  Following the secretary’s remarks, she said a male non-commissioned officer in her unit told her: “All you women are getting out now.”  “I want nothing to do with the military after this,” she said.   

For the Navy captain whose change of command was canceled she’s now unexpectedly winding down a trailblazing career in the Navy.  It makes her former SEAL Team Six teammate furious.  “It’s fuckin’ bullshit. That’s horse shit,” the former senior enlisted SEAL said.  He voted for and supports Trump, but says he thinks Secretary Hegseth’s personal views are blinding him from retaining obvious talent at the expense of some of the military’s most elite war fighters.  “I think my job is to protect women and children but occasionally there’s badass [women] out there, and we should capitalize and not limit ourselves,” he said. 

The Navy special operations source familiar with the matter lamented that one of the captain’s passions had been recruiting women to special operations roles. Now pulling the woman’s command could cut off access for other female service members, the person said.  “It pisses me off because it is clearly someone who is capable and has done extraordinary things and is being punished because of — and I hate that I have to say it this way — weak-ass men,” they said.

 

Trump Can't Stop Talking About Karoline Leavitt's Lips

While returning to the U.S. on Air Force One, convicted felon Donald Trump made an offbeat comment about White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s appearance.  The 79-year-old president was talking to reporters following the release of hostages as part of the Middle East ceasefire agreement.  Towards the end of a 15-minute gaggle with the press, Trump swung from discussing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to land on Leavitt’s facial features.  

“How’s Karoline doing? Is she doing good?” Trump asked the reporters. He then asked the press, “Should Karoline be replaced?”  When one reporter replied, “That’s up to you, sir,” Trump quickly stated, “It’ll never happen. That face... and those lips, they move like a machine gun, right?”

It is not the first time Trump has made the bizarre analogy about his press secretary’s lips and ammunition.  In August, in an interview with Newsmax’s Rob Finnerty, he said almost the same thing.  “She’s become a star,” Trump said of Leavitt. “It’s that face. It’s that brain. It’s those lips, the way they move. They move like she’s a machine gun... She’s a star and she’s great.”

“She’s a great person, actually,” he added. “But she’s–I don’t think anybody has ever had a better press secretary than Karoline. She’s been amazing.” Leavitt first worked for Trump in his first administration as an assistant press secretary from 2019 to 2021.  After a failed congressional election bid, she began working for Trump in January 2024 as his national press secretary during his election campaign. 

After Trump appointed her to her current position last year, she became the youngest press secretary in White House history. She married real estate developer Nicholas Riccio, 59, in January—days before Trump’s second inauguration. Earlier this month, Leavitt upgraded to one of the largest offices in the White House after it was vacated by Taylor Budowich, one of Trump’s deputy chiefs of staff.
