A retired GOP State senator from Alabama (and former head of the State Board of Medical Examiners) passed away this week after contracting the coronavirus. Dixon was reportedly exposed to the virus while not wearing a mask at a small outdoor social gathering. On his deathbed, he issued a dire warning:
“We messed up, we let our guard down,” Dixon said. “Please tell everybody to be careful. This is real, and if you get diagnosed, get help immediately.”
At a campaign rally in Georgia last weekend, Donald Trump was still trying to shift blame for his shambolic response to the coronavirus:
"We're all victims. Everybody here, all these thousands of people here tonight, they're all victims. Every one of you."
That's right, Donald-- we're all victims of your narcissism and incompetence. January 20 couldn't come any sooner.
