Not only is the Orange Man losing spectacularly on the criminal front (he is facing 34 counts of falsifying business records in New York and he is facing 37 felony counts related to his mishandling of classified documents) he is also losing big-time on the money front-- hemorrhaging cash in the tens of millions of dollars. But to make matters worse, he losing over and over again in the civil courts-- and wasting tens of millions of dollars doubling down on his loser ways.
His long-shot bid to get his hush money case in New York transferred to federal court was slapped down decisively earlier this month-- but he is appealing that decision.
Trump has also launched a "Hail Mary" bid to revive the sprawling RICO lawsuit he filed against Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, several ex-FBI officials and more than two dozen other people and entities. This despite the fact that he has already been ordered to pay $1 million for bringing such a frivolous lawsuit against Mrs. Clinton. But Trump is appealing that decision too-- despite having zero chance of prevailing on that one too.
And just this week, Trump was on the losing side yet again when a judge dismissed his $475 million defamation suit against CNN.
In another legal blow this week, a Fulton County judge almost literally laughed off Trump's attempt to have his election interference investigation derailed before he was even indicted. The judge's order referenced Rumpelstiltskin and even suggested that Trump was "grifting" his supporters over his legal woes.
And I haven't even mentioned the federal charges Trump is facing over the January 6 insurrection and his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Those charges could very easily be felonies (conspiracy to defraud the U.S., obstruction of an official proceeding of Congress, aiding and abetting an insurrection).
