A Daily Dude Milestone: 1000 Posts

In my first post, I used a quote from de Montaigne's "Essays" to suggest that a life of self-discovery is one of chance, not one of design. Certainly, running this blog for the last year and a half has led me (a life-long Republican) unexpectedly down the path to Obama-ville.
