Sarah Palin dropped out of a 5k race on Thanksgiving Day in Kennewick, Washington. The former vice presidential candidate and Alaska Governor quit the race because she wanted to avoid the crowds that were waiting for her at the end, according to The Tri-Cities Herald. If you'll remember, Palin also quit as governor of Alaska because she wanted to avoid the distraction of all the ethics investigations being filed against her.
Palin was 1 of about 3,000 registered participants in the Kennewick race. After Palin announced that she would be running the race on her Twitter feed, her expected presence drew a "mass of onlookers." Kind of makes you wonder what she will be quitting next . . .
