Rick Santorum Caught Up In Ensign Scandal

Politico reported this week on GOP Presidential candidate Rick Santorum's involvement in the Ensign scandal.  According to the Special Counsel's report (released this week), Doug Hampton called Santorum for personal advice on his wife's extramarital affair with Ensign.  So how did Rick "Mr. Moral" Santorum help out his friend? By ratting him out to John Ensign:

Rick Santorum alerted Sen. John Ensign in 2009 that the husband of Ensign's mistress wanted to go public with the affair that ultimately ended the Nevada Republican's Senate career, according to a Senate ethics committee report released Thursday.

To cover up a violation of the Ten Commandments, Rick "Holier than thou" Santorum committed another sin-- lying about it to the press.  How's that for family values?
