California Model Killed, Castrated, Cooked and Then Ate Her Husband

A model from California met her future husband, Bill Nelson, and three days later the couple were married.  But according to Omaiama Nelson, a model and a nanny who had moved from Egypt to the US, their marriage was far from a happy one. he claimed her husband showed his violent side almost as soon as they were married and says he would regularly physically and sexually abuse her.

Omaiama Nelson, claiming she had been pushed to a state of traumatic distress because of her husband's actions, carried out the most gruesome murder. She castrated Bill, bludgeoned him to death with a clothes iron, put his hands in a deep fryer and ate his finger saying "I'm glad I lived".

Five years before the horrifying events that would end Bill's life and see Omaiama Nelson locked up for killing him, the model had moved from her home country of Egypt to California and began work as a nanny and model. In 1991, she met Bill Nelson while at a bar playing pool. At 56, Bill was 33 years her senior, and was working as a pilot.

Just days after their wedding, Omaiama Nelson says the abuse started. This claim was substantiated by a psychological evaluation later revealed that Nelson was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. (PTSD). On Thanksgiving Day in 1991, Bill allegedly sexually assaulted his wife and she decided to fight back.

Omaiama Nelson claimed her husband has sexually assaulted her while she was tied to the bed during bondage play. She told police she broke free of her restraints and hit him with a lamp before stabbing him with a pair of scissors and bludgeoning him to death with a clothes iron. He died from stab wounds.

During the attack, the one-time Egyptian model wore a red dress, a red hat and red boots, investigators said. But this was only the beginning of Bill's gruesome demise. Following Bill's death Omaiama Nelson began the gruesome task of dismembering her husband. It has been said she castrated him as revenge for her claims of sexual assault.

The killer cooked her husband's head and boiled his hands in a desperate attempt to remove his fingerprints. She then mixed his body parts with turkey, leftover from the Thanksgiving dinner, and threw this mixture into the garbage disposal. The whole horrific act took 12 hour, with Omaiama Nelson saying she was in a 'trance-like state'.

After the killing Omaima Nelson was seen driving her husband's red Corvette, which was found with black trash bags in the front seat containing body parts, as reported by CBS2. One video taken just moments after police arrived at the scene shows an investigator stunned after finding organs in one of the bags. The evidence trail led investigators to a bloody scene at the couple's apartment, where officials said Omaima Nelson had tied her husband to the bed and cut him to pieces.  

Nelson remains in prison after recently being denied parole.
